Legal: citing the tool
Reviewers want to know which tool did what. Here is how to say it in a sentence or two.
How to report it
Name it as IAMB.AI (https://iamb.ai), with the month and year you ran the review, and say which steps it supported.
For example: "Searches, screening, full-text retrieval and data extraction were managed in IAMB.AI (https://iamb.ai), used in October 2026."
If the AI excluded records on its own, PRISMA 2020 counts them as excluded by automation tools. IAMB.AI puts them in that box of the flow diagram for you.
Say which role the AI had (advisory, second reviewer or auto-exclude) and that people resolved every conflict.
The decision log, with every vote, reason, model and prompt, exports from the review. Add it to your supplementary material so readers can check every call.
The AI is a tool, never an author. The people who decided are the authors.
